This website provides public information about the AshMelT project. The project was running from January first 2012 until the end of december 2014. AshMelT supported the development of a practical and reliable ash melting test for biomass fuels, in particular for wood pellets. The project had been initiated by the coordinator BIOENERGY2020+ GmbH -an Austrian K1 centre. AshMelt was performed and funded under the Research for the Benefit of SMEs activity of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Union. The research leading to these results had been received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement n°287062.
